Simple but just checking first

I want to put a 12v cig socket in the boot of my tourer. With all the wiring gizmos nowadays can anyone recommend where I can take a live from without messing anything up.

I did this a few years back and mounted the socket on the nearside panel that covers the suspension strut in the the load area. For the power supply i ran a thick wire behind the trim on the nearside, under the carpet to the fuse box. If you remove the cover in the footwell, on the underside of the fusebox you will see 2 thick male spade connectors. 1 is constant live and the other is ignition/ accessory live. I just fitted a 15 amp inline fuse and connected it to the constant live and with everything refitted is a neat job. It's ideal for running my coolbox for days out.:D
