Would like your comments and advice on the following:

1. fitting LPG to an 2.5 V6 auto or manual .. pro's and con's .. re mpg / performance etc..

2. mileage intervals at which belts should be done and approx cost?

Do it!
The only cons are then on gas you are about 8% down on power and you lose boot space.
For me I could not run a V6 and drive 25-30k per year if it was not for lpg. I've owned 8/9 lpged cars in the last 8 years many of which I fitted the lpg myself.

I have just bought my third 75 it's a 2.5 V6 the other two were diesels. Is it legal to do a gas conversion by yourself?? I have been offered a kit out of a non running 75 but might struggle to find someone to fit it!

Yes its legal to do a gas conversion.
