hi i want to fit some bmw e46 coilovers to my 75 does anyone know if they are a straight swap over or do i have to do any modifications thanks

I've seen in other posts the E46 kits fit, but there has never been a detailed explanation.
Maybe you can be the first...!

I think the rears are a straight swap, fronts need an adapter plate. There was a very recent thread on coil overs I believe.

Not quite, the rear upper shock mount studs on E46 are closer together than the ZT/75 and the lower mounting bolt hole on an E46 is 12mm diameter, the ZT/75 lower bolt hole is 14mm diameter. So you will need to fit 75/ZT upper shock mounts and open the lower shock bush up from 12mm to 14mm.
