I am a relative newbie to the 75 community, so please excuse any obvious stupidity in the following..
I own an early 2004 mark 1 75 (1.8T auto club SE) and have just installed front fogs (wiring kit, relay and lamps from Rimmers). After getting all done, I notice that buttons on key fob no longer work - would anyone have any ideas as to why? I replaced a relay that was in the fuse box with one that came with the kit - would putting the old one back sort this out? I was told that my car was already wired for fogs but I could'nt locate the plugs under the bumper so I used the whole kit. I didn't consciously press the key fob buttons when battery was disconnected as I heard this was bad - but is there a remedy if button was pressed accidentally? There is also a strange buzzing sound coming from under the car that definitely wasn't there before..
Please help...!

Ok, replaced new relay with the old one that had been in place and key fob working fine now. Still seems to be an electrical buzz coming from under the car on driver's side (think it's from the in tank fuel pump) - MG Rover specialist advised it was nothing to worry about and it's not very loud so will keep fingers crossed! Has anyone else on here fitted front fogs to a 1.8T auto? Does the loss of air flow to the auto cooler have a detrimental effect? Thinking about drilling a few holes in bumper under the o/s front indicator and meshing over in order to get more air in that area - is this necessary? Thanks for any help, Karl.
