Hi all,

Due to my wife getting a larger car I am now in a position to downsize from tourer to saloon (I prefer saloons).

Car is as follows:

Registered 2006

137,000 miles (last 50,000 done by me in two years of ownership, service schedule followed religiously)

MOT - March 2014, however, if your car comes with 12months MOT, I will MOT mine

Approx 3500 miles to next service, again, you service yours, I will service mine

Tax 08/14

Refurbed gridspokes (6 months ago from PX Wheels)
Le Mans Green
Gold fan resistor fitted
Handbrake compensator fitted
Plenum shield fitted
Longlife stainless back box with transferrable lifetime warranty
Matt grey dash replaced with Rhodium
Rear pads, shoes and disks replaced 2 or 3 months ago
Full service history (MG or MG Specialist)
160 remap by Brian
EGR Bypass fitted (have EGR)
Seat Leon front splitter
Passenger cup holder
No record of clutch being repaired, but is working perfectly
Pure DAB CD/Radio fitted with bluetooth*
Underseat Alpine active subwoofer*

* Ideally want to keep these, or swap for car with decent/comparable audio setup, but DAB a must, cant live without Radio 6 Music.

Bad points:

Approx 4" crack/crease in rear bumper (just back from boot lid on top of bumper, not that noticeable, and definitely repairable)

Drivers seat bolster just starting to go

Other than that I think the car is in really good condition, lazer tracking done a few months ago at club meet, and also had engine terracleaned.

Looking for a saloon with similar spec to mine, must be manual, must be diesel, must be MG (no offence to Rover drivers.....)

Any colour considered apart from black (again, no offence, just dont like cleaning black cars)

Other than that am pretty open, prepared to swap bits over if you want to retain yours (i.e. wheels, stereo etc)

Mk1 or Mk2

Tourers generally selling for more than Saloons, so would perhaps expect something towards mine, but this could take the form of low mileage, decent audio, apex wheels etc

Anyway, hope I have covered everything, if not, feel free to ask.

Happy to email photos to anyone serious who has a saloon to trade.

Cheers
Mark

Always forget something.....

Front disks and pads were changed January 2013
Has IPK thingy
Auto sensing wipers
Auto dim rear view mirror

Windscreen was changed about 18 months ago due to stonechip.

Pretty sure your car is Goodwood Green as Le Mans Green was dropped around 2004!

You are correct, is Goodwood Green

For some reason it has a Le Mans badge on one of the C Pillars

Thanks for pointing this out.

Did you take it to the MG specialist in Chorley near the station? I think I saw it when I took to inquire about my 260 service!
