We could dig a big BBQ pit in the middle pitch lots of tents round it with the cars behind each tent. The way the day went last year I'd happily have camped out for the night it was fantastic.

I will let the organisers know how many are attending so that we can park up better than last year, last years show took the organiser by surprise at how busy it was, so this year will be better.

All added to the list, there is a few clubs on Facebook that are joining us, which is why we are attending as MGRover, anybody that wants to bring club banners or gazebos etc is more than welcome, we should have around 50 attending so far, so the trophy for the biggest club is within our grasp lol.

I am really snowed under what with the new head units and this is going to be my only day off for nearly two months by the end of July.
I'm having to leave by 14.00 at the latest and I want to get round to enjoying the show, taking photos, eating food:drool4: and chatting to peeps etc;)
Don't mean to be rude but I really do need a small break from it and better to say now than on the day.

was at two previous school shows, was at first? revival 2012 on sports ground with Suffolk Boy Phillip, Woody 804 Paul, Dave Goody David, hence my saying gang of four. was at well attended 2013 location. waited a year for the big one. going to miss one as my wife is un-well. now having to wait another year. Just got back. Decent turnout of interesting cars - a fair number of 75/ZT's (no V8 though :( )with smatterings of ZRs and ZSs - a fair few MGFs too... not much (ie nothing I remember seeing) in the way of Metro, Montego, Maestro, 200-800's or indeed MGs (I wanted to see an RV8), but that's why next year's POL is a must for me! Some smashing cars there though including a 2000TC to die for. (Sadly no pic, sorry!)

This was the first time at this show for me and really enjoyed it , nice meeting and chatting to new and old members , the grand prix from the Half Way House got abit tense at one point :eek: , tempers flared abit in the que going out of the show ground but all in all a good day , thanks for getting the day together....

Weather was good up until I had to leave at 13:45. Looked a bit overcast by then. Met a few faces that I have come to know on the forum which was great, but only a few which was a shame as there were a lot of 75/ZT(T)'s mostly from the HH meet but didn't see much of the owners around. Mind you I did have JAY on my T-shirt and car to seem approachable although that might have been the problem;):D:cool:

Been here before. I made myself known to various members but some people walked away from there cars before I got there. I only met Jay by chance. I was hardly missed with a Yellow t shirt on.

If you do curious to know what you or any others think. peter.

I was amazed at the shear size and presents of the front of that Jaguar, Peter. With the chrome and the basic but breath taking look I just had to stare at it for a while before I took the picture.

TBH I don't know a lot about these type of older classic cars. I did have a 1956 split screen Morris Minor for 3 years (in 1998) but in comparison to the Jaguar it is like putting a pea next to an orange for scale and price;)
