Hi All, with my 1.8 petrol tourer I am losing a regular small amount of coolant, it appears to be coming from the IMG at the rear of the block, I did that about three years ago.
On adding coolant to the expansion tank this afternoon, there was a distinct smell of petrol from within that tank, definitely from within it.
Hoping that that it's not the head gasket, which I had done about four years ago, is it possible that fuel can contaminate coolant via the inlet manifold gasket?
