Retrofitting the ski hatch??

Hi guys,

Has anybody ever tried this?
Can't find any info on the forum about it.

I don't have a ski hatch, but sometimes think it'll be very handy to have one.

As long as you've got a normal fold down rear squab then it should just be a matter of finding one with the same upholstery that has a ski-hatch that's being broken. Just get the rear squab and swap it over.

And can that folding rear seat be retrofitted to a car that didn't have folding rears originally?

So it shouldn't be to difficult I guess. Just a matter of finding the right backing.

Has anybody tried to make it themselve?
