75 1.8t Manifold Gasket.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to replace my inlet manifold gasket. I have never done this before but I am pretty confident that I would be up to the task as I have read on the forum that it is not one of the most difficult jobs for a novice mechanic like myself.

I have searched the forum for either a video or pictorial link (basically an idiots guide) but have not had much success. If anyone could assist or advise me would be appreciated.

I don't think anyone's written one (yet?).
Easiest help is a Haynes manual. It describes all the steps.
Get the latest Viton gasket.

As suggested, having a Haynes is helpful, and have a look at this, it may help...

Obviously there will be some differences but using both you can create your own work sheet.
