Anyone fancy a wee dayaway?
Events are starting to take up space on the calendar ie POL, Carter Bar, New Lanark, Mothers day etc so im thinking about Sunday 23rd March. A drive to Oban, vist McCaigs Tower, lunch in Oban and return via Inverary for afternoon tea. :}
Date – SUNDAY 23rd March 2014
Departure Point – McDonalds Car Park, Balloch
Departure Time – 10.15am
Destination - Arrive in Oban approx 1200noon at McCaigs Tower car park. Then into Oban town and park in Oban town, have a stroll and use the various eateries for lunch.

McCaigs Tower. Fab views from here over Oban Bay and the islands beyond (on a clear day!)
Depart Oban. at 2.30pm.
Destination - Inveraray, arriving approx 3.30pm. Afternoon tea return home from there.
