My wife has had my 75 for the past few days

Met up with her today and opened the rear passenger door and noticed a piece of trim has vanished !

When opening the door, it is colour coded (sandstone/biege) strip of plastic that covers where the carpet ends and the door shut begins

I want to scout around for a replacement, however, I dont know whats it called!

Thanks and hopefully someone knows what I am talking about !

Memo, dont lend car to wife again as it comes back with bits broken !

Its called "the plastic thingy where the carpet ends", and gets kicked off all the time.

You can get extra strong clips to hold it on (any of the traders on here will supply a replacement), or after re-attaching it 50 times you can do what I did and throw it in the bushes.

Remove the old clips and use new clips like this (http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-EKM100270).
If you put them in the slots of the sill finisher first, then push it firmly into the locating holes - it will stay put. ;)

Because some people, (Bob being an exception) keep on fitting cheap replacement Clips off Ebay and the like!!!

And all to save the price of a 'Half' down the Pub..... :duh:

That is why yours are in the shed and mine are fitted to the car. :p: lol

Seriously though, I have heard mixed reports on these yellow ones, but I know the originals work.
It also manages to hold the driver door card on my car too, where the same one is used. ;)

I actually got mine from Endon Services, who are a bit cheaper than Rimmers.
I agree though, a steep price for a bit of plastic. :}

I fitted the 'correct' clips on my Passenger Door Trim over 3 years ago now and they haven't been kicked off once!!! ;)

The part arrived today....................

However, the link that was posted on this thread for me was actually for the limousine !!!!! So the part is completely wrong

Apparently the part is discontinued for the standard 75.................
