I absolutely love visiting the Lakes, though I tend to avoid it during busier spells. Your car looks resplendent there! Lovely 75!

Lovely shot :D

I love the lakes too.

Mind, I love Dumfries and Galloway too Frazzle. Used to caravan in Kircudbright when I was a kid and had a great week up there last year camping on the shore of Loch Ken :D

- but there are times when you wish for a few less visitors :}
While you're there, pay a visit to the Hardknott and Wrynose Passes - they'll really give the 160 a chance to shine ;)

I live here and unfortunately take it for granted, can't remember the last time I spent a day doing nothing there

Hardknott pass is quite amusing in the snow and ice in a Ford Focus, when the traction control stalls the engine and your car is sliding backwards :)

It was a brown trousers moment for me !

Having to restart the engine and switch off traction control at the same time wasnt the easiest of tasks

Have to agree I live in the graden of england or so they say, I take it for granted lol. I say to people what on earth do you want to come here for a holiday for lol. I forget there are some nice places here to vist. Think we all take where we live for granted.
