Lincolnshire/Norfolk Meet June 28th 2014

Well leading on from the last April Meet, where we had a new record of 13 cars on a dull and dismal day, the next event will be on Saturday June 28th.

The location will be as it's been so far, at http://www.choicehotelsuk.co.uk/en/quality-hotel-kings-lynn-kings-lynn-hotel-gb203 which has proven a popular location so far! :)

So lets see if we can break the record of attendance at the next one! :)

Kick off is normally around 11 am and goes on for around 2-3 hours, or until you get bored! :lol:

Hi Jay,

Just for clarity Trikey with his T4 does the general healthchecks (and looks like he cannot attend the next 2 meets) and Phil T4 does the same and a lot more specialist stuff re T4 including re-maps.
As i discovered on my car at last meet where both were there they make a formidable team.

I am going to bring at least 1 R75 wall clock, some Diesel Vinnie dials and perhapse some other bits.

If anyone wants to place an order for dials now I could bring and do a free fitting to the IPK's on the day..;)

Looking forward to this meet, hoping to get a couple of stocktake's VIS motors fitted by Phil T4 and my 2nd key programmed. Possibly the 1st time my car has had fully working VIS motors in my ownership:shrug: so looking forward to the drive back....:D

Great meet. Enjoyed it. Great to put some faces to names. A great bunch of people:}. Been T-4'd by Phil (160 remap) The drive back was er....faster:D thanks also for sorting out my sensor screen wipers;)

If no one turns up, there is no meeting, so thanks to everyone that turned up, we had a total of ten cars today, which i slightly less than I was hoping, but nice to meet a couple of new attendee's today and I hope you can make the next at the end of August!:}

Very nicely thanks, ironically wherever I went I encountered slow traffic on home journey.

Had some ferrying around to do later and the heavens opened, lakes everywhere so difficult to demonstrate the peaks to my son, although I tried, theres always tomorrow:D Did notice much better mpg coming back though, think they will pay for themselves:}

Felt very guilty at missing today's meet having missed the previous one, but woke up to a flood in my yard (not insurmountable, but mucky), and a leaking radiator - fortunately in the central heating system and not the cars, but meant that it was around 11am before I could set out, and with 65 miles to come, thought I would miss most of the fun, so gave up, and attended our local "Armed Forces Day" instead. Hope I am forgiven.

Please confirm future dates so I can make a better effort!

Thanks for your kind words mate, but sadly that's more due to the T4 guys than myself! ;)

After Barry's experience with a "normal" garage almost destroying his car, it just echo's my view that we should only take our cars to people who actually know about them, even if it means a slightly longer trip at service time! ;)

Personally, although he's a 160 mile round trip away, the only person that will be touching Ed in future is Trikey! :bowdown:

It was in my mind Mark but got stuck behind a queue of traffic behind a slow moving lorry for miles. Didn't see you in the line. By the sounds of it you were probably in the same situation, just further up the road;)

Goes from 50mph to 90mph pretty sharpish now:eek: (I mean 70mph:getmecoat::D)
Fuel consumption was also better with lower speeds achieved in 5th gear:}
