As above, has anybody done this successfully?

My front passenger side has a rattle due to being off of the top spring clips, and it's clearly not helped by this:

I've put a new fir tree clip on there, plus the spring clips, but as the split is so near the top (and above the fir tree), the card just pops off the mountings.

Is that a Neptune Blue personal line interior you have ?

If it is, it may prove a bit tricky to get just a door panel on its own.

And therein lies the problem!

You can remove and repair the door panel, youll find the door panel is basically made out of 3 nylon ABS panels, the top (the black vinyl bit, centre upholstered bit, bottom cubby hole)these panels are hot melted together at a number of points.
Drill the tops off the hot weld points for the top panel and get another good door panel and just swap the tops over.Re join using 13mm galvanized self tapping screws at the hot weld points. This way all the coloured trim etc are original but with a good top panel.I found door panels with this sort of crack in them are hard to re fix to the door using the standard clips as the top flexes to much and works loose with opening and closing.
Alternative is to hot weld a bit of ABS to the rear side of the panel over the crack using a soldering iron to strengthen it but the visual crack in the vinyl will remain.
