dual zone temperature set with 1 button

is it possible to control both sides of the dual-zone climate control with just one button? is there a way to make both sides lower or raise the tempereture at the same time with one of the up or down buttons? its so annoying to have to switch both of them, during the daytime I have the A/C running cuz its so hot, nighttime I need about 22 degrees celcius of heat.

Not that I know of,

But why do you want to change the temperature anyway - the whole point of climate control is you set the temp you want and it switches the AC, heating, and etc on and off to maintain it

Can't think when I've touched them buttons in the last year, its set at 20c and does its job (though they are big enough buttons to press both at once without looking anyway )

Most modern cars with dual control climate control have a feature whereby the driver's side control can control both but that feature seems to have been omitted on our cars.... And don't worry about some people belittling your complaint, especially as I've seen them complain about having to switch off the heated rear screen in winter....lol. And that's only ONE button to press...

I have been experimenting with an old ATC. I can get it to go one way but not another. It must just be a case of linking the up down buttons on both sides........ On many modern cars there is a button to turn this off and on. Alfa's have it. My OCD will not allow the numbers on either side to be different LOL

As the temperature is only monitored on the driver's side, it doesn't matter.

From what I can tell, the passenger side is just a calculation based on the driver's side reading anyway.

So just adjust the driver's side and leave the passenger side.

don't know if you already know this but if you take the back off the unit there is this connecter , wonder if the rest of the gubbings are there to let it work or if its for the purpose I think lol

But I am of the understanding that if the passenger one is more than 2 degrees 'C' different either way it is negated and only the driver's side is followed...

Doesn't negate is so much as moderate it Bill, and also it's 5°C ;)

Temperature control

Operate the rocker switches on either side of the display to set the required temperature for the corresponding side of the passenger compartment (left hand switch for the left side of the car, and right hand switch for the right side). The system will not achieve temperatures on the passenger side of the car that are more than 5° C (9° F) greater or less than the temperature set for the driver's side.

Temperatures above 28° C (82° F) and below 16° C (61° F) cannot be set. Above or below these maximum and minimum settings ‘HI’ or ‘LO’ will appear in the display

about the heated rear screen, will turning it ON take care of rain, or does it only work on frost? not sure if mine is working or not, bought the car a month ago, did nothing for the rain or even mist at night when it was foggy

It only dissolves any frost or ice as well as getting rid of condensation inside the widow.

But I doubt it will dry rain that lands on it...
