My auto box is grabbing when it changes gear it like im putting the brakes on
I have changed the oil to day and no change
Any ideas please help

ive just read your post and it sound like my box is doing the same as yours but i have never worked on auto boxes before

Have a good read through the whole post - it wasn't too hard. If you think you're up to it, grab a new 2/4 duty solenoid from Sussex Autos, if not, take it to an auto specialist and mention what you believe the problem to be. :)

on the ohms test it says test 18 16 where do i put the red wire on my tester as ive never done ohms tests before

It should just be in the usual socket for Volts (it is on mine) - it says V/Ohms above the socket. It could be the Omega symbol on yours though. :)

is the auto box connector the 1 at the side of the top up plug and does it just pull off

There's 2 connectors at the front right of the engine bay between the battery box and the wing - it's the one at the front. :)
It's got a twist collar - turn this and it'll undo.
