Hi-line radio malfunction

Rover 75 2002 sedan.
Was tuning in the radio stations and everything was going swimmingly (or so i thought),then when i started the car next time all it would show is the setting screen, with one obscure radio station playing in the background??.
no matter how hard itried to get the FM and AM back on screen it would only show the same thing ! i can get the tape and CD player showing but not the radio stations and i cannot tune them in???

Sounds like it needs a reset.

Below is a "re set" procedure we used to use for "Non functioning" High Line ICE units (TV/Sat Nav units) in Rover 75s.

1. Switch off unit using main on/off button (one with the orange tell tale on the bottom right of the unit)
2. Switch on the unit using the same button
3. Within 8 seconds press and hold the TP button, on the unit, until the radio station read out re-appears and music etc can be heard
4. Switch off the unit again
5. Switch the unit back on and you can then select all radio bands along with CD, tape and tuner.
