Hello guys, my car has been stopped for one month and a half because of an auto gearbox problem but now that the gearbox problem is solved i have a problem with the central lock system:shrug:

When i press the key fob button one time the drivers door won't open and when i press two times only the rear passenger door opens, but when i manually open all doors and i press the key fob button all the doors close.

but with the interior button of the central lock system when i press to close with all the doors opened it only closes the rear passenger door:shrug:

Do you have any idea o what it could be?
Thanks :}

Try battery reset, disconnect battery and leave for at least 30m.

do your indicators etc work (k-bus error)?

if you pull the door lock plug do you have 12v to earth on the pins when the button is bipped?

It really want pluging in to a t4 then you can test all door looks, could be a door lock could be a bcu, its all guess work at present

As the problem has occurred after the car has been standing, maybe the mechanism has stiffened. Perhaps you could try cleaning and lubing the whole caboosh.

Does sound like BCU.... can you get to a T4 or someone with a BMW scanner who can clear any fault codes?

the scanner is a long shot but may work...
