That's too hot. You most likely have a faulty radiator fan. You can test it by starting the engine from cold and pressing the windscreen 'demist' button when it should run continuously. If it doesn't, you either have a failed resistor (2 speed system) or worn out motor brushes (3 speed system).

Craig; please describe your engine type (2.0 V6) in your profile.

thanks i think it is somthing do with fan as it only turns on when engine is really hot or somtimes when AC,heaters ect all turn on,so only option i have is to buy a new fan but what type a 2speed or 3 speed and how much are they?

Wrong Craig! You haven't found out which type of fan you have yet. Read on ...
... but what type a 2 speed or 3 speed ...
To find out, peer through the radiator grille and identify the black plastic fan blades. At about the two o'clock position look for a silver rectangular resistor with a wire coming out of each end. Tell us whether you can see that. If a photograph would help, look at Arctic's threads.

If you can, all you need to do is to buy a new uprated 'gold' resistor from club trader Jules. They are only a few pounds.

No cant see any resistor,so does that mean I got buy new fan?

No cant see any resistor ...
It's a 3 speed motor then with a couple of worn out brushes. It is possible to open up the motor and fit new ones, but I think that the best thing for you is to contact club member Arctic who can supply a checked and tested second-hand 2 speed motor & control box. All you have to do is fit it and plug it in. How does that sound Craig?
