I have just bought a Rover 75 Club 1.8 SE T (77,000) due to no service history I will invest in a new cambelt, water pump and flush the radiator plus new coolant. Not mechanically minded can you suggest any other maintenance task I need to be doing on this visit?

Many thanks in advance

Oil and filter change. Renew spark plugs. Change air filter. Clean plenum drains.

Chances are it's got the original brake fluid.
Brake fluid service schedule is every two years/30K miles.
This might help.

Many thanks I will add those to my list of work to be done. Will my mechanic at the garage understand what a plenum drain is and where to find them?
If he doesn't, guide him towards the How To section on our site. He should know where they are and what to do though.
