Hi I have a webasto fbh fitted with T80 telestart receiver and a 1530 Timer fitted.
Was wondering which version of fbh I have... as far as I can tell the model number is 98570D? Also is mentioned 3B996233 and JEC 104391... see attached PDF... any thoughts before I start doing some testing?

Hi therider,
as your model number starts with a 9 I think it will be the later one, which requires pin 3 to chassis to test start it.

Cheers Pete.

Thanks Pete - thought I'd check before messing around with things!
Regards John
I was a bit confused because most of the posts which talked about early/later versions only seemed to mention 2 part numbers??

Think I understand now...:o
The telling part of serial number is the 1st 3 digits... so as you say Pete with mine being 985... its a later version.... thanks...

So... would my 98570D be a later derivative...? It definitely has a rover 75 label on the side...

That's interesting... by the look of the label, that's the one on the passenger side of the FBH (well it is on my unit...)... that number doesn't appear on that label on mine???
If you look at my PDF above I've shown the label at the bottom.. basically says ... WEBASTO 9004621B at that point... I'll try & take actual photo but it's very tight in car there...
By the way I pulled fuse 8 in engine bay last night & everything seemed to work fine off remote this morning :-)
Still might have an issue in colder weather? ... fuel supply... glow plug.... battery voltage...??? But won't know until weather gets colder...

Sorry for digging this old one out... But did have a conclusion to the B and D variants? I have also an 98570D but with an install date from 2003. So it seems that it is OEM equipment (which doesnīt work :( )

I donīt want to go through all diagnostic steps in the cold and want to catch a spare unit. If I go for a B variant, do I have to change the wiring because of a different pin layout?

Kind regards
