Key programming

i have a spare key with my ZT supplied with the car when I bought it,
It is from a rover 75 and requires programming to my car, Is this possible ?

no problem at all for marinabrian,send him a PM he will sort it.

It's not possible to use a key from another car and programme it with T4 to use with your ZT ;)

The only part that can be re-used is the remote board once the barcodes have been calculated for it ;)

The transponder chips in the original keys cannot be reprogrammed ;)
The immobiliser has to be removed from the car, read and a new transponder coded to the immobiliser ;)

This is done with separate equipment, T4 is only used to input the barcodes for the remote.
