I found this...along with a broken / ripped wheel arch cover when I was checking and cleaning out my blocked plenums.
Has anyone idea just what is broken and this might be and do....:shrug::shrug::shrug:

Looks like the remains of the "Shannon" tube, they all do that.:} It's the air intake feed to the airbox. Look at Jules shop for replacement ;)

Just done mine this week. Don't forget to remove your air filter and hoover out any debris from the collapse in the filter housing. I found that the hardest part was removing the "rusted" phillips head screws under the access panel ( I reached over the top of the panel with a set of small mole grips and latched them onto the sharp end of the screw to loosen them - very fiddly but it saved destroying the plastic ). I also loosened the arch liner to give more access.
