I've been thinking about buying one of these little camera's for a while, but having to trail a wire round to the cigarette socket puts me off, I'm not going to peel back the lining as they never go back properly. And it looks untidy (to me) to have something plugged in there all the time.
But I've been thinking.... I could wire it in to the cortesy light console, it'd make it easier and neater. Easy to solder a lead and connector.
Question is, would that offer enough power.
