I have recently fitted a pair of thes lights. They work well and I find them very beneficial. Since fitting them I have a small problem in that my trip recorder showa up as 'Err' when I start the engine. Can anyone throw any ideas on how I can correct this fault? Everything else still functions very well.
Many thanks Graham M

Did you also fit a new light switch module Graham :shrug::}

but just the front panel so you do not need to get it T4'd...;)

reading your post again did you change the LSM (light switch module) when you fitted the fogs....

if so have you driven the car ?

you only really need to change the switch panel of the LSM as there is a copy of some security coding on the LSM board, if you have swapped it this coding being different will cause the ERR....

put your old one back in and see if it clears... if it does just swap the front panel and away you go...

if it does not then I am afraid you will need a T4 to re-sync the coding in the various modules....:}

Good idea to try the original one Dad, after reading the above. If it then works ok, then this may have the fix http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=197713&highlight=Fog+light+switch ie swapping the front panel, but I don't know how easy that is to do, but I am sure that you can work it out, and / or someone else will come along here with how to do it :)

I did see that, and I guess it's steps 26 to 30, but I didn't totally understand it without any wording
Thanks for posting it here :}
