OK Guys, I am planning on splashing out on an activated carbon pollen filter this time around. ;)

Any recommendations? It seems that Mahle (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mahle-Pollen-Filter-Cabin-Filter-Carbon-Activated-LAK243-Rover-75-All-ModeLS-/171524510478?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27efa8530e) or Muller (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-Muller-Carbon-Cabin-Pollen-Filter-Genuine-OE-Quality-Car-Service-Part-/390727403348?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ARover|Model%3A75&hash=item5af92b0754) seem to be the brands commonly listed. :shrug:

I think I will give the OEM (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-OE-Carbon-Cabin-Pollen-Interior-Air-Filter-Service-New-/231412458944?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ARover|Model%3A75&hash=item35e141e5c0) one a miss at £67.49 :eek: :D

Thanks! :}

I would like to get a few of these. Pity they won't post overseas to me in New Zealand.

You can always order them to my address and I can forward them on at cost. Happy to help out. :)

What is the difference between these and standard filters?

Dorset Bob

Standard filters will only remove solid contaminates such as dust and pollen.
Because activated carbon filters have a very porous layer, they do the above and also filter (or rather absorb) fumes, gases and odours. :}

The difference between carbon and standard is brilliant - I do miss mine. Can't find one for the ZS (yet!)

It's time I changed the Pollen filters on my Tourer ( Petrol V6) and Saloon Diesel ( both 2Litre cars).
Question is - do they both take the same Pollen Filter ?
Rimmers seem to stock one- JKR000031 . Does it fit both?. There also seem to be a lot on ebay - any advice welcome?

Yes, all the cars are fitted with the same pollen filters. ☺
In the past I have searched out the best deal on the OEM ones on eBay.
