Hope all is well chaps,

Bought myself an OBD II bluetooth for gadget purposes only really but I noticed the coolant temperature at a steady reading of 74/76 all the way home (26 miles) 90% of my journey is motorway, my mpg isn't the best I'm getting usually 38mpg or 40 if I drive like miss daisy!

So is 76 normal or do i need a new stat?

Has your mpg improved with the new inline stat?

Has your mpg improved with the new inline stat?

I have only done short runs (circa 11 miles) but she warms within 4 miles and the heater is much more responsive....

I was in the same boat and fitted the in-line stat, it took my MPG from mid 20s to low 30s (auto), mid 40s on the motorway. Best thing I ever did.
