O/S/F Headlght bulb

Evening All,

Got stopped this evening by one our boys in blue as I have an O/S/F headlight buld gone fair enough but how do you remove the cover its situated below the aircon pipe and I cant get my hand in?

From what I gather, you access it from the little hatch in the wheel arch. I did mine by feel rather than actually seeing what I was doing. The spring clip is tricky, just spring it back 90 degrees to get bulb out, if it detaches completely it's a pig to get back. Halfords will fit a bulb for £6-99, and IMO, worth every penny.:}

Main beam bulbs (inner lamps) are accessed from under the bonnet. The dipped beam lamps (outer ones) are easier from the hatch in the front of the wheel arch liner. Even so, you may have to move/remove the Shannon tube or the screen wash bottle neck, depending on RHS or LHS failure.

or if you have xenon projectors the bumper has to come off!!

Hi thanks for the replies, as its a facelift model I have managed to remove the bulb holder (no retaining clip) and replace the buld. However, I cant refit into the lamp housing itself should it fit in a certainv way?
