Help, Rover 75 not starting

Hi,

I've just changed the clutch on my 75 Tourer Diesel and when i turn the key to start it the starter motor just clicks and the headlights come on. I put everything back as I took it off so can't work it out. Also headlights staying on after I have turned them off.

It has been standing for about 10 weeks and worked perfectly before that.Any suggestions?

Welcome along, you have a flat battery, stick it on charge for 24ours

thanks. just put new battery on started straight away. feel a bit silly now, my first post was a proper silly one.
