Hi everyone

Ive tried to find on here any help about removing or checking seat belts with no luck.

My pretentioner has stopped working and the passenger one has always been iffy.

No the drivers side has stopped retracting and i need some advice on how to ge the panels off so i can have a look at it.

Thanks

you need to pull both door seals off and the panels pull off, they are very tight, and you'll probably break a fitting or two.

Before that, get a duster with furniture polish on, pull the belt out fully and wipe both sides of the webbing with the duster.

Roll the belt in and out a few times and it should be better.

If not chances are you'll need a new belt

Sorted, didn't need to remove the door seals. Starting from the top the b panels did come off reasonably easily. Found that the pre-tensioner cable was wrapped around the door pillar seat belt bracket and had come away from the seat hook.

Fixed that after some swearing managed to get the cable re-hooked and found out that the sliding panel attaches to the nut.

Cleaned and lubricated the belts and all good!!!
