Tinted wind screen?

While cleaning the car today strange I had really noticed before, was my screen seemed to have a green tint looking from the outside.

They all have.

Stops the UV I believe.--:D:D:D

I think most glass is green tint by default unless something else is added, the only true clear glass being picture glass...
