Afternoon all...

Been under the car today and noticed the front adjustment sensor arm for my projector headlights had pinged back on itself off the lower arm so the headlight beam hasnt been sitting at it's right height etc...

Had a look at the arm and flipped it back on itself so it makes contact with the lower arm but then it just pulls itself free and away from the arm

How should it attach to the lower arm and how can I fix this so that it works as it should?

It's part 11 in this: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001545 and it's the arm to the right that needs re-connecting!

Cheers

go to BMW and you can get the arms seperately...

Have a search and you'll find the part numbers on here...

You should have xenon not projector lamps fitted if the levelling sensors are fitted

Haha thank you ;)

However that part is still intact and moves freely; it's the actual connecting it to the lower arm piece of the puzzle that's missing... Looks like it should be a metal plate of some sort but cant suss out how it connects

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ahhh...You've lost the metal clip off the arm then

I seem to remember someone fashioned one out of a piece of a PC tower, fom the rear slots as its springy metal

Or try a trader breaking a car if they've got one, it simply clips on the lower arm
