Hello all,

I am in the process of installing a DAB aerial and need to get the passenger side "A" post off. I pulled the SRS fuse out waited 30 minutes. Then I started pulling the "A" post out and found the cover won't shift anymore, because there is a really tight cable tie that is connected to some cabling and wrapped around the airbag itself. I stopped at that point, I kind off wussed out as I didn't want to damage anything. Is there any guides on how to do this as I need to get it done as I have had a DAB radio since chrimbo and an aerial now but not installed. I couldn't find anything at all on this forum or googles about removing this, how do I do it???

Thanks for any help in advance!

The A post (actually known as A pillar} is where the door hinges are attached.
What are you trying to move describe better please, such as plastic cover that goes from .... to ..

Finisher-A post upper, it is the cover for the SRS curtain airbag

looks like this....http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/ItemImages/Large/EMB101400SCD.jpg

I need to get into there to a.) connect the earth strip on the DAB aerial to the metal on the post and b.) to feed the cabling down through the bottom through the dash so I connect power to the stereo as well as the smb connector. I know this is technically I.C.E related but as its over trim removal, I thought I would ask here! oh it's a glass attached aerial!
