Rear ABS sensor removal

Just a quick Q.

Tourer rear ABS sensor..........

Would it be easier to remove the hub and drift the sensor out from there ?

Or would I risk disturbing the reluctor ring ?

I am assuming it is not going to budge from the outside :D

That's how I did mine - removed the hub and wellied it out with a drift and lump hammer from the outside.

Check the back plate for rust, as any build up can wear the magnetic reluctor ring away.

Is the ring attached to the hub ?
