Having problems getting a key cut for my MG ZR. Timpsons have proved useless so is there anyone on here that does them or know a good source?

they cut a Focus key for me I bought from e bay.

Not sure if they are the same as ours with a transponder chip in them, does it have a little black/grey box in the key housing if so I doubt it can be done by a high street locksmiths they can of course cut the blank
Try one of the guru's they offer keys and transponders for our cars they may be able to help

You could try these guys if non of the club gurus can help they once cut and programmed a Volvo key for me.

They may insist on having the vehicle on site though but it's a day at the seaside for you.

It's just a key on its own. No transponder to program. Will take a trip into Cheltenham in the morning.

I was there for 5 minutes and walked out with a new key. Just goes to show how "amateur" some national companies can be despite their claims. Stokes just did what i asked for. Thanks.
