There are various ways to reset it.

A T4, the bespoke Rover diagnostic set, or other decent diagnostic. :drool4:

At the other end of the technological scale is a paper clip and following the instructions in the Haynes Rover 75 manual. I wouldn't recommend that though, as you risk damaging the pins in the diagnostic plug, and if you short the wrong pins blow a fuse at the very least. :eek:

There are also cheap reset tools on Ebay, but again there is a risk that the diagnostic pins can get damaged. :getmecoat:

I used to do it with a bit of wire with the ends tinned and a couple of milli-amp quick blow fuse in the middle just to err on the safe side, but now have a Sykes Pickavant ACR4. :}

If you have a bit of time on Sunday, there is a meeting at Sywell Aerodrome with some 25 (last count) members attending. There will be our man Phil T-4 with his box of tricks, and I also have a reset tool to hand. So a good day out with fellow club members and service interval re-set. You will be more than welcome.
Maybe see you there!
Cheers John H.
