Hi All,

I seem to have a problem with rad fan I have a 2ltr V6 Tourer had it running for about 30 mins today on idle got temp up to 101 degrees, temp gauge goes to normal half way as it should but the rad fan still did not cut in,what temp should it cut in at .....Many thanks in advance

Around 100C for the V6, but give or take a degree for luck. Maybe it wasn't quite warm enough or maybe the low speed has packed in. Maybe you should run the default test using the Demist routine.

Hi Dave.
In your about me you have printed that you have a diesel ? do you alos have a V6 as well then, how did you mesaure the 101c on the OBD ? Arctic

Oops I need to update about me:}, yeah I pushed trip button in held it in until clear then quickly go up to 19 then up to 7 and it checks your running temp cheers dave

Hello from Sunny North Wales !

First of all you need to identify which type cooling fan you have.
If your fan is original on a 2003 model, it's most likely to be the earlier 3 speed without resistor.

Whatever you need I have components to cover all eventualities !

Thanks for the info it's on a 52 reg done the demist test this morning and no fan tried looking through grill to see if I could see what colour the resister was but can't see a thing lol cheers dave
