IHi all
I have now booked in to attend the Rover /MG gathering at East Kirby Aviation Centre on Sunday 12 th July. This is a super event. Organised by the East Lincs Rover Club. I have attended as a visitor for last two years. Incredible number of all things Rover related from vintage Rovers, MGs, right up until Rover demise in 04. Over 400 vehicles
Does anybody else fancy this?

In addition to the cars it is held on the site of the museum dedicated to airmen who flew Lancasters and other aircraft in WW2. There is a live Lancaster that does Taxi runs, excellent musuem and a flypast by the aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at RAF Coningsby.
Flying Banana amongst others attends this. There is a caravan site at Tattershall which is near if a few were going. Does static and mobile caravans and tents for the hardy!
I could organise a tour of the BBMF on the Saturday. Close up viewing of the fighter aircraft flying on the Monday. At weekends it is generally just the BBMF aircraft. Worth staying to see the modern stuff. Busy base.
Some action from Coningsby
