mk1 - Door Wont Open for some reason!?!

Hi all,

Out of the blue this has randomly happened..

Drivers door, Locks with the keyfob, but when i press to unlock it, the drivers door stays locked! Have to enter the passenger side and open it manually (highly embarrassing!)

Any Ideas guys, have tried looking on the HOW TO bit, but cant seem to find anything relating it - specsavers maybe? :duh:

I maybe selling her soon :( so would like to get this fixed first,

your lock solenoid is tired, get a new one from a trader or the bay and replace it...
