East Anglia to POL ?

Depending on timing are there any cars going from East Anglia to POL on Saturday that I could tag along with ?

I will be coming from Ramsey, Cambs, down B660, joining the A14 near Thrapston (J13 of A14). I am really not sure of timings though - I aim to leave about 9.00 am, so should hit the A14 about 0930, but I would not bank on it - other current commitments might delay things. This may be too late for you if you want to get there for the 1000 AM kick-off.

I'll perhaps PM you my mobile number so you can call on the day to see where I am at.

We are taking the granddaughter in the ZT-T not sure what time we will be away, but by 8am I hope! Normally takes about an hour to get to the A14/M1 junction and onto the M6. Then probably a short pitstop at Corley Services.

Last year I just happened to join a convoy that came past me on the A14 who I stayed with for a while, but the enthusiastic pace was not doing my MPG figures any favours :)

I still got to POL in good time

Yeah we had a good day, took us quite a while to get in! The traffic lights in and around Longbridge are all timed wrong. We turned into the park at around 11.30
