:duh: would like to thank everyone involved today in getting C15 little heart beating on all 4 cylinders..

I can confirm I drove the return journey of 18miles without missing a beat.

:bowdown:Thank you TRIKEY for bringing your laptop and working your magic, I am so glad you were able to find the fault ( a failure of replaced new HT lead )

It was so strange that the original are now working, so I wonder if the original fault was a coil pack then when I fitted the new leads one failed showing the same symptoms.

I shall be arranging a cam belt change with you to hopefully keep the beast going for a lot longer.

Then once I know the engine is all sorted I had better try the conventional adaptation to the bonnet cable rather than the mk 3 version fitted on my car :eek:

Then it would be time to actually clean the engine and bay and start to make it look a bit more respectable so as not to let the 75 side down...

It was great to meet up with such a great group of people and I look forwards to the next one

good meet today nice to see a good turnout , s12vep had its first outing for 2 years and ran like a dream .

on the down side went home swapped cars to go to chesterfield got half way there and broke down on m18 had to get recovered by the aa injector leakoff pipe failed . and then deleted all my pictures from today .


home now and going to sort out the leakoff pipe as i have one somewhere in the garage

also going to find a clutch for s12vep as it,s starting to slip
