My 75 V6 Conn has no heater, someone suggested that I remove the matrix and clean it out, although I am not sure how to do that. It doesn't blow cold air it remains very look warm, enough to defrost . The car runs great, but when I get to a destination, the water in the radiator is still cold. Does anyone have any diagrams or suggestions what to do, and how to do ?:}:}

You may get some ideas from the How To forum and other threads in the Tech Help forum;)

Have a look at this....

OK Rick, from the symptoms you've given I'd say that your first move should be to check the coolant temperature. Unfortunately the temperature gauge is of little use so do it like this (http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=185808). The reading you get should be in the low nineties. Please report back, mentioning any engine work done by garages recently, and we'll take it from there.

I had the same problems on my 1.8 until last week, even after driving 220 miles my car was still cold, I have since replaced my broken thermostat that was seized open. I now have a good flow of heat all around the car and the heater inside is working perfectly. I now also get a proper reading on my temperature gauge whereas before it would always be cold unless I was not going anywhere and it would creep up to half way..

Good luck in finding and sorting your fault

Yep - I agree - almost certainly your thermostat failed open - changed mine last month - now nice and hot. But very fiddly to do and new stat costs around £50.
