OK done some work on the beast today,
Brakes, handbrake upgrade lights polished, rear brake backplate renewal and some brake lines. Oil and air filter.
The thing is over the last week it seemed like the fan had been kicking in too often, on inspection it looks like I'm loosing fluid. I found some coolant on top of the gearbox it looks like its from the hg but reading up I'm thinking it could be from the inlet manifold. I have no oil on water or water in oil so just after pointers

I think the IMG would be my first stop too. Fit the later black Vitron type.

Yep, have to agree here.i had the problem. Also check the rubber hose that joins onto the steel pipe,it can leak there too causing coolant to drip on the bell housing.

Not sure Euro car parts stock them. Rimmers do http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001691 item 2. Get the Viton one. I think you can also get them off the bay of e.
