Hello folks,Both Steve & I have been making enquiries for a new venue within Northamptonshire, and have found a park that is happy to welcome us for a meeting and also a good family experience for all ages within a massive area.
The date that has been booked is 14th June 2015 (Sunday). Take a look on the link below and let me know if you would like to join us.

http://www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/en/councilservices/Leisure/countryside/Pages/Irchester.aspx

We may plan a BBQ with drinks, but there is also a cafe and sometimes ice cream van there as alternatives. we have yet to work out the food side of things in terms of who will be wearing the apron, or who will be sourcing the food.
I guess we will gauge this by interest levels.

Those who fancy a day out there with us, please respond and I will form a list.
Many thanks for reading this, hoping for a good turn out!

Sorry won't be able to support this new venue as it clashes with another meet sadly, good luck I know how hard it can be getting new venue off the ground. Apropos is there likely to be a meet at caldicotte this year I for one have missed the convival atmosphere you get there and the food is pretty good too

Good Luck

Well folks, just less than a week to go !
The list of attendees looking fairly strong for a new venue, and Steve and I are encouraged by the numbers so far, thanks for the support on this.
The BBQ is on for sure, I will be bringing the kettle and stove also so hopefully a good way for us all to catch up and have good fellowship.
During this time, we may wish to discuss the future as a group to cover some subjects such as nano style stuff and if we wish to equip the region with items such as gazebo ETC, and how we may fund this as a group. Any Ideas on this would be welcomed at the meeting and we may be able to set things up based on what we would all like to experience.
Please take care folks, and looking forward to seeing you all on the day.
John & Steve.

Not Only But Also :
I anticipate arriving at the venue a tad before 09:00 to see if I can secure a portion of the lower car park, Either Steve or I will advise on the plan of attack and work with the site staff to obtain a best as possible area.

Thanks to all for your support & keep an eye out for further info!

Congrats on getting the new meet off the ground would a park allow a nano style meet I wonder, but good you are thinking on those lines as never can be too many of those given the age of our cars.

Some nano style work was carried out at the caldicotte arms at past meets and I well remember huddling under a number of portable gazebos when it was freezing with rain and hailstones! ah happy days:} Is there any likelihood of any further meets at MK or is it not suitable any more I certainly would miss it for the place, food, and the friendly atmosphere and camadarie.

Good luck for sunday

Hi, good points made, the Caldecotte Arms venue is by no means shelved, Both Steve and I are trying to retain the venue as well as opening up new opportunities for fresh venues this being one of them.
Thanks for your input on this, and in due course will sort bookings for C A on top of the plans we have in the melting pot!
Cheers JohnH.

Bear in mind that some of us have a good appetite, so arrive late at your own peril, with or without melted cheese slices..........
As pointed out, I will be there as they open up, not sure on the rest of the possey, but sure they won't be too far behind. Arrive as and when you can, Just take care !

Cheers John & Steve.

Today at Irchester Country Park.

I have taken 5 photographs and all but this one have failed to load, but I guess this is progress for me to get 1 to work.
I am far better at working on the cars than trying to do this type of work but will ask for some help from my local Dudes to get the other photos on later this week!

Hi All

Great meet Excellent fun and Superb food. Denise did a great job with the barbeque ably assisted by RS Steve. Cakes too supplied by John's mum:drool4:

I hope the Tow bar meets up with expectations took a little longer than expected so apologies to Barry as we didn't get round to the clips for the boot. I am sure these can be available for the next time.

Certainly came up to my expectations and hoping that these will become a regular feature on the calendar. Special mention must go the guys that came from so far afield to attend. When is the next one?

Hi Matey

Good to meet up with you and let us know how the towbar (and Wiring) performs.

On another note

Statistically :D speaking you will have a better chance of getting a wave from another member if you have the sticker installed. As long as you have your subs paid up then I would think you will be in with a good chance of being provided with one as part of the Welcome pack.

Hopefully we will see you at the next one.
