Another of many MG-Rover South East events this year, sees us trying out an all new venue for our club and we are quite excited about this one.

The venue
Barleylands Farm
Barleylands Road, CM11 2UD Basildon, Essex.

The Date & time
13 September 2015.We must be on the stand no later than 9.30am and the show will finish at 5:30pm,any movement of cars before then will need the escort of marshalls

Description
We are the first "modern type" car club to be invited to have a stand on this show.

What was once an Essex farming family's informal gathering of half a dozen steam engines is now the largest event of its type in the South East, with an average of 35,000 visitors for the last 6 years.

Showcasing agricultural history, rural crafts and packed with fun and activities for the whole family and breathtaking arena shows, the Essex Country Show will be in its 29th year in 2015 and better than ever!

2015 show highlights include Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists Bolddog Lings Motorbike Displays, character sing-a-longs with the 'Snow Sisters', and Medieval Jousting!

We have been given space for 50 cars!!!

Each car gets 2 visitor tickets to the show.

Who's going

30 + 27 possible so far from the FB page.

Some details are still being finalized, feel free to join this great event.

Event Disclaimer
Please be aware this is not an official Rover 75/MG ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the Club's public liability insurance. Also the Owners Club take no responsibility for the meet in anyway.

It was a fantastic day, walked around the show for about 4 hours, held a snake, a ferret, fed some animals, took some leaflets and bought a plant :D

I have over 100 photos of the day which I've posted on the facebook groups, however if anyone isn't on facebook and would like the photos of their cars let me know and I'll post them on here :)

Thanks for organising this guys :)
