Sooooooooo, after much swearing and cursing, mainly due to the fact that mein knee ist kaput, switched live and negative connected, however, absolutely nothing. Tried covering sensors and flashing lights at other sensors, but nothing, nada, zilch, didlysquat, f.............!
Also, cannot for the life of me locate any pin on the A-pillar that is the reverse switch.
Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :duh:

what about the third wire to the reverse line on the GBX.... if that works with 12v on then you know it will be ok...

Even adding a 12v feed made no difference.

If your using the early mirror and the A pillar wiring its
White / Yellow pin 11
Black pin 3
green/brown pin 12
OR
White / Yellow Pin 16
Black Pin 3
Green / Brown Pin 17

I'm looking for the later colour scheme
When I've done them on cars without wiring, Ive dropped the three wires down the passenger side A pillar and connected on the rear of the fuse box.

The mirror had 3 wires, pins 1, 3 and 10, all black and red wires.

The only colour relevant to the plug on my A-pillar was black, all the others were different.
