View Full Version : Charging Fault.

This just came up on the IPK. Battery symbol showing all the time when running. Diagnostic mode 9.0 showing 11.9-12.0. with engine running. So it looks like a new alternator if no trace of a broken wire/loose plug. Can anyone offer any other cause? Battery was new last year:shrug: Powderham this Sunday looking a bit iffy at the mo.

How many miles ?

Could be only brushes/regulator replaceable in situ ;see the how to

Hi Mike, it's on 133k at the moment. Had a free oil change a few weeks ago but no sign of negligence, too hot at the moment to investigate.
Regarding the kit, don't know if I could source it locally, and quickly.

The warning appeared suddenly Mike, and has stayed on, will look into it later, may be asking local members if they have anything, oops, I just did:D
