What's this wire for?

Was having a look underneath the car earlier and spotted a cable sticking down which was running along side the fuel pipes. Anyone know what it's for? Cheers

Assuming that you have a diesel and that the wires are behind and beneath the drivers rear seats, it may be the wires fro a Fuel Burning Heater (FBH). This would be fitted just in front of the battery box.

Hi. Yes it's diesel however I don't have a fuel burning heater. It's more on the pass side
