Fitting Sunroof Motor

Will be fitting a sunroof motor soon is there anything that I should be aware of or is it a straight forward fit, should the sunroof be in a certain position, before putting in the motor.

When I bought the wife's zt it didn't work I just removed and fitted a replacement and can't remember any issues.
I changed it when the roof was closed.
There is a way to reset it if it's out of line.
