Sorry chaps, having just bought another 75 I am realising all sorts of things that need doing.

The coolant level is ok but I notice it looks weak / bit watery? Anyone know roughly what a garage would charge to flush and replace the coolant with OAT?

Do it yourself, you need 2 Ariel liquitabs, a hosepipe and buy a 5L bottle of OAT.

Doesn't the system have to bled by someone who knows what they are doing? Rather than just emptying the contents and replacing with new stuff?

If you read this then you'll be one of those people that know what they are doing, and probably more than a lot of garages

Thanks.

But I'm lost at step 1.

For that reason, i don't mess about with cars

Fair enough :D
Pop into your local garage and get them to check it then, rather than tell them you want it replaced, and see what they recommend.

If it looks watery, it is probably because it is watered down.

I'm sure there must be someone close by from here that would be able to give you a hand. Saves the expense of a garage.
